For Further Reflection: 

1) Where or to what do you turn in desperate times (anxiety, fear, lack, etc.)? Is there something in your life currently that feels beyond your control?

2) Where might you be tempted to rely on your own strength, experience, knowledge, or routines instead of Christ? What would greater dependence practically look like this week?

3) Why is the object of our faith more important than the amount of our faith? In what ways can Christians subtly begin trusting in the quality of their faith, spiritual performance, or ministry effectiveness instead of Christ Himself?
