OUR VISION & VALUES

Our Vision

FOLLOW Christ in FAITH,
SHARE the gospel of HOPE, and
UNITE in LOVE for God and one another.

We want to be a church that helps people grow as devoted followers of Jesus Christ through worship, discipleship, community, service, and outreach.

How We Live It Out
As a community of believers, we seek to:

Worship God and submit to Him in prayer
Matthew 22:37; John 4:23–24

Walk in the Word through discipleship
Psalm 1:1–2; 1 John 1:7

Work in the Body of Christ for its edification
Ephesians 2:10

Witness to others about the hope of the gospel
Acts 1:8; Revelation 12:11

Welcome one another into our homes and hearts
1 Peter 4:8–9; Acts 2:42

These five areas help shape our ministries and priorities as we seek to grow together as devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Values

These are the qualities we seek to live out as we follow Christ and grow together as a church.
The Local Church
We believe commitment to a local church is an important part of following Christ. Through active participation in the life of the church, believers worship, serve, encourage one another, and grow toward spiritual maturity.

Acts 2:41–42; Ephesians 4:11–13; Hebrews 10:24–25

Ruled by Grace
Our relationship with God depends entirely on His grace. Every good thing we have and every good work we do is evidence of His grace in our lives. Because our faith is rooted in grace, we seek to extend that same grace to others.

2 Corinthians 9:3; 12:9; Galatians 3; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11–14
Excellence
We believe God deserves our best in all that we do. We seek to be intentional, open to feedback, and willing to grow. For us, excellence means doing the best we can with what God has given us.

Colossians 3:17, 23–24; Malachi 1:6–14; Proverbs 27:17
Teamwork
We believe ministry is best accomplished together. By serving as a team, we can draw on one another's strengths and gifts as we work toward a common purpose.

Ecclesiastes 4:12; Luke 10:1
Unity
We seek to be a church characterized by love, peace, and unity. When disagreements arise, we believe Scripture calls us to pursue reconciliation with one another. Our unity is an important expression of our love for Christ and our witness to the community around us.

Matthew 5:23–25; 18:15–19; Philippians 2:1–4; Colossians 3:14–15
Diversity
Within our unity in Christ, we value the diversity of personalities, gifts, backgrounds, and life experiences God has given us. We believe these differences strengthen and enrich our church family.

1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:11–13

Honest Inquiry
We believe biblical Christianity is not a blind leap of faith. We welcome thoughtful questions and the diligent exploration of Scripture as we seek to know God more deeply and grow in a faith that is grounded in truth.

Jeremiah 29:13; Acts 17:11–12; Hebrews 11:6

Relationships
We value people over programs, buildings, and things. We seek to build meaningful, caring relationships within our church family that encourage one another toward Christlikeness. We also desire to build genuine relationships with those outside the church and share the hope of the gospel.

John 13:34–35; Galatians 6:1–5; Ephesians 4:11–13; Colossians 4:5–6; 1 John 1:3, 6–7

Generosity
We recognize that everything we have comes from God. We seek to be generous with our finances, time, talents, and other resources as we care for one another and those in need. We believe generosity is a response to God's grace and an important part of faithful stewardship.

2 Corinthians 9:6–8; Hebrews 13:3; James 1:27
Living Out Biblical Truth
We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms both individuals and society. As a church, we are committed to living out biblical truth with grace, conviction, humility, and love.
