The Early Years
In 1978, several families began meeting regularly for prayer, asking God to establish an independent Bible church in the area. Their desire was to form a non-denominational local congregation firmly grounded in the Word of God.
In September 1978, Faith Community Church held its first service with Ed Regensburg as pastor. In the early years, the church met at St. John’s Chapel in Gambrills and later at Arundel High School before building its present facilities.
Pastor Regensburg faithfully shepherded the congregation for 36 years before retiring in March 2013.

Growing in Faith & Mission
Throughout our history, Faith Community Church has remained committed to supporting missions around the world. We are grateful for the many families and individuals from our congregation who have gone on to serve in full-time missions and pastoral ministry.
It has been a privilege to see families and young people discipled at Faith and then carry their passion for Christ into communities near and far. Over the years, God has also blessed our church with growth, allowing us to expand our ministries and staff as we continue seeking to serve Him faithfully.

Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, our desire remains the same: to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and serve our community for the glory of God. We are grateful for all God has done through Faith Community Church, and we anticipate with joy how He will continue to work through His people in the years ahead.
