1. Community is better than Isolation

  * What do you think is the importance of living in community with others? What are the dangers of isolation?

  * Who is in your circles of community from large groups to those closest to you?

  * Who will be there to help when you fall down?

2. Humility is better than Pride

  * From whom do you seek approval?

  * Describe the instability of popularity and power

3. Reverence is better than Piety

  * When was the last time I experienced silence in the presence of God – not just absence of words but also 

   the quieting of my thoughts?  

  * Do I listen to God more than I talk to Him?

  * Why is it uncomfortable sitting quietly in His presence?

  * How can I prepare my heart to come into the presence of God on a daily basis and on a weekly basis in our

   gathered worship?

4. Contentment is better than Accumulation
