1) What does it mean to be ‘sent out like sheep among wolves’ today? We are to be as wise as serpents, yet innocent as doves (v.16). What does this balance look like in your daily life? In what situations do you struggle more with wisdom or innocence?

2) How should Christians prepare for opposition in today’s world (Religious, Governmental, Familial)? Have you or someone you know experienced conflict because of faith? How can we love unbelievers while staying true to Christ?

3) How can the church be both bold and gentle in its witness? How can we as a group encourage one another to “endure to the end”? What habits or disciplines can we cultivate together?
