1. How does this miracle reveal both Jesus' compassion and His divine authority? Can you recall a time when God's work in someone's life led you to greater faith or awe?

2. Why do you think the Pharisees refused to believe even when the evidence was undeniable? What are some modern ways people "explain away" or resist the clear work of God's Spirit today? What warning does this give us about our own hearts?

3. Why is this sin described as "unforgivable"? How would you explain the difference between a one-time offense and persistent, willful unbelief?

4. How can we cultivate humility and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's leading? If someone came to you afraid they had "blasphemed the Holy Spirit," how would you gently explain this passage to them?
