For Further Reflection: 

1. When you hear Paul’s goal of “presenting everyone mature in Christ” (v. 28), where do you see the greatest opportunity for growth in your own life right now? Who knows you well enough to speak honestly into your spiritual growth?

2. What would it look like to take responsibility not merely for gathering together, but for helping one another grow in Christ? Who in your life at church might need encouragement, correction, teaching, or practical help to take their next step toward maturity?

3. How does Christ's supremacy (vv. 15–20) and the sufficiency of His gospel (vv. 21–23) give us confidence to speak about Him with others? What would one concrete “next step” of gospel faithfulness look like with those in your life—praying, initiating a conversation, inviting them into your home, sharing your testimony, opening Scripture, or inviting them to church?

Personally: What is my next step?

Corporately: Who am I helping take their next step?

Missionally: Who needs to take their first step toward Christ?
