While planting a church in Central Asia, E&S encountered a too common problem. For economic reasons, new believers are forced to leave their home community for “the big city”. E&S have adopted a novel solution: help local believers start small businesses so they can stay in their home community and have platforms to share the Gospel while serving the community. In spite of persecution, the church has more than doubled in 3 years, including 20 members who are teaching in small groups.
