FAITH EVENTS WEEK OF December 10, 2017
YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY –  On December 10th at 12:30pm, all middle and high-school teens are welcome to come and enjoy a time of fun, fellowship and celebration of God’s Greatest Gift to man: His Son. Bring a covered dish and or dessert and a gift (no more than $20.00) to exchange. We will have gingerbread house decorating contest, an “ugly sweater” contest and much more. See you there.  For more information, contact Steve Nemeth at:
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PLAY – The children of FCC have been working hard on this year’s Christmas play. They will be performing on December 17th at both services. Invite your friends, family and neighbors to see the Christmas story told in a fun and entertaining way!
CHRISTMAS CAROLING – On December 17th at 6pm the family of Faith Community Church will gather together here at the church to go Christmas caroling throughout our neighborhood. After caroling we will have cookies and hot chocolate at the church, provided by the Young Adult Bible Study. Please join us!

WORKING WOMEN’S EVENING FELLOWSHIP – Looking to connect with other women who are balancing life at home and at work? Join us Tuesday, Dec. 19th at 6:30PM for a special Christmas gathering for fellowship, encouragement and intentional conversation at the home of Lori Stevens. Please bring a wrapped pair of gloves ($10 limit) for our gloves exchange. Contact Lori at for more info and directions.

NURSERY NEEDS – Are you looking for a way to serve in the church? The nursery has an opportunity for you. We are looking for 1 or 2 adults and 1 or 2 youths  (age 12 and up), to help one Sunday each month. We are also in need of volunteers for our Christmas Eve services. If you are interested in helping, please contact Brenda Handel at 410-451-8180 or
CHRISTMAS EVE – We have a huge opportunity to invite family and friends to hear the gospel with the Christmas Eve Candlelight services, one at 4:00 pm and one at 5:30 PM. There will be special music, drama, a message, and of course the lighting of candles, to answer the question: “What Child is This?”
BLESSED HOPE –   Blessed Hope Nepal was established by missionaries to help a group of ladies in Nepal by teaching them to make and sell bracelets to provide income for impoverished families as well as provide a vehicle for outreach and discipleship. Recently one of the ladies, Neema, acquired a large amount of medical debt due to her mother being sick with cancer. Just this past week, sadly, her mother passed away. We will have a few bracelets available for sale in the foyer, in order to help pay for the medical bills Neema has acquired. 100% of the money will go to Neema’s medical debt. Please stop by the table and take a look!

FCC ADULT DINNER THEATER HELP WANTED –  If you would like to be part of our upcoming Adult Mystery Dinner Theater scheduled for Saturday, March 24, 2018 we need YOU!  We are looking for adults, teens and younger kids.  Rehearsals and reading of parts will begin in January after we complete our sign up and auditions which will go through November and December.  Please contact Cheryl Garris at or Debbie Jarvis at for more details.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – Baltimore – Washington Regional Processing Center Open to Volunteers.  For those who would like to volunteer, we anticipate processing 1 million shoeboxes.  The address is 8700 Robert Fulton Drive, Columbia, MD 21046 (behind the Snowden Square shopping center).
